Yep...got my first-ever WoW character (shaman) to level 70 not too long ago!  Now, to get her geared.

Okay...so I ran across a webcomic a few years ago.  It started out with a little girl named (IIRC) Clarissa, who gets bullied in school, putting up a drawing of a werewolf and a chipmunk.  At some point, a surreal sequence involving a kid getting attacked by a booger happens.  

It's revealed that Clarissa's home life is very messed-up...but you don't find out just how messed-up until the very end, when you see the drawing.  The werewolf and the chipmunk are clearly representational figures, and the teacher thinks that their positioning is accidental.

Long story short:  I'd like to find the damn thing...and I can't!

I've been playing too damn much World of Warcraft lately, ever since I got Burning Crusade and started finding the Alliance as interesting as the Horde.  (Which means that I've suddenly got a whole BUNCH of draenei characters.)

However, suspect that I'm the only female player out there who likes orcs and trolls, but despises blood elves.  And I really do despise blood elves:  Their scrawny bodies, languid postures, haughty attitudes, and petulant voices all seem calculated to annoy.  (Then, there's the way that they mince around...and that RIDICULOUS TWIRLING JUMP.  At least night elves do a flip instead of a prissy twirl...)   And I've come to the conclusion that if I ever sink to the level of griefing, I'll quit playing the damn game.

As of a few minutes ago, I tried to get photos of the lunar eclipse—with a less-than-state-of-the-art camera with dying batteries, and a less-than-steady hand due to jittery nerves.

Needless to say, epic fail:  It's a smeary blob the color of iron oxide against a field of mottled black.  So much for that.

Oh, well.  At least I got to see it.
